Parry Creek Farm, Day 60, Wednesday, 26th June

Parry Creek Farm – Marglu Billabong – King River Road – Marglu – PCF

Spent the morning photographing birds at Marglu Billabong. We took a back road to camp, which was fun if unexciting. Had breakfast and some pool time back at the farm. In the afternoon, we visited an Aboriginal rock painting site, which was spread along a crag exposed to the fierce afternoon sun; challenging but well worth the effort. Late in the afternoon, photographed rainbow bee eaters and a snake necked darter at the billabong. We ate an excellent dinner – mainly cooked by Duncan – of marinaded lamb chops, sweet potato chips, and asparagus. This was followed by “keto” salted caramel ice cream.
